Celestial Forge

An orbit‑driven incremental about building worlds and forging stars.

This is my first attempt at making a game so feedback is appreciated!

The game autosaves every few seconds but there is a manual save/load and export/import available.

Overview

Generators fire balls of mass towards the core, forming a world. Complete celestial bodies, unlock different generator types, discover powerful events, and, once you’re ready, enter the Star Forge to try and forge the largest star while earning the powerful RELICS resource.

  • MASS: Earned when shots settle on the core.
  • ORBS: Awarded per full generator orbit.
  • CELES: Gained by completing bodies.
  • RELICS: Forged in the Star Forge.

Features

  • Six generator types: Basic, Burster, Heavy, Critical, Support, and Adaptive, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
  • Four events: Solar Flare, Comet Shower, Nebula Bloom, Temporal Distortion.
  • Achievements: 16 in total to unlock

The UI feels pretty messy, makes the experience unpleasant every time you prestige. Having a huge list of the generators seems redundant, would be better to have a button to add or remove different generators from the types, would make it easier to change types. The whole UI menu is so cluttered too.

Thanks for the suggestion, I've just released some changes that hopefully address this issue. Let me know what you think!

The concept is unique and it's a fun game. I think it could be even better if the cluttered UI were improved.

Very nice game. Optimisation for mobile would be awesome! Looking forward for this game

Pretty and quite satisfying, though I miss a goal

A little gameplay, a little critique :)

Thanks for the video! I think everything you said was very fair :)

It makes me glad that most of your critique was about the UI (which I know is super important in a game like this), but it clearly give me a area to focus on next time.

I hope to make more games and will definitely take your feedback onboard.

Are you releasing a windows/steam build? Do you have a community discord or group?

I appreciate the interest but there won't be a windows/steam build for this. No plans for a community discord or group at this stage.
